Big Dog Billiards Annual Midwest Billiards & Cue Expo Tournament Description & Rules
9-ball Players
1
The website we are using for the tournament bracket is poolplayermatchups.com. This site is where you can go to view the bracket, check match times, table assignments, and payouts. When you check in on that Friday of the tournament, you will receive a flyer on how to navigate the website for your convenience.
2
WHEN YOUR MATCH IS CALLED, YOU WILL HAVE 5 MINUTES TO REPORT TO YOUR TABLE, AND START YOUR MATCH. IF YOU DO NOT REPORT TO YOUR TABLE AND START WITHIN THAT 5 MINUTES, YOU WILL FORFEIT THAT MATCH. *** NO EXCEPTIONS! *** We have to do this in order to keep the tournament moving along due to the large field. Match times are subject to change to an earlier or later time, depending on the length of other matches. You will need to watch the website for any changes made to match times and table assignments. Your best bet is to stay in the building to avoid any unfortunate forfeitures.
3
Since we anticipate a full field of 200 players this year, we will need to play later into the evening Friday and Saturday. But, the players that played the last match of the night will NOT be the first match called the next day. Again, you will need to watch the website for any changes made.
4
We will have 21 7ft Diamond ProAm tables to play on this year vs the 12 - 14 tables we have used in previous years. This will definitely help the tournament run more efficiently.
